Our Philosophy

We use creativity and nature to heal and teach entrepreneurship and service to empower and affect change in our communities

God gives each of us a dream and a purpose - a Sacred Seed. He blesses us with the people to prompt and support us and the provision with which to realize these purposes. The Sacred Seed was created to nurture the development of this seed in all who are served by it - children, women and volunteers alike.

The Sacred Seed’s atmosphere of love, kindness, compassion and faith is aimed at creating individual spiritual depth, strong character and leadership qualities while expressing love of God and each other.

John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

1 John 4:7-10 My beloved friends, let us continue to love each other since love comes from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and experiences a relationship with God. The person who refuses to love doesn’t know the first thing about God, because God is love—so you can’t know him if you don’t love.

Our Mission

Provide hope, healing and love to at-risk children and women enabling them to reach their true potential and bless the world.

Our Teams

Founder, Cynthia McCoy Romano

Cynthia has always believed in the possibility of dreams. Born in a small South Carolina town, she grew up in Charlotte, NC. At 22 years old she moved to Chicago and had a rapid rise to the top of the commercial television world. At 32 years old she surrendered it all and moved to the beautiful Amalfi Coast of Italy. While in Italy, Cynthia renewed her creative spirit, started photographing again and began to write. At 42 years old she went to India and there decided to pursue a long-time dream of using her God-given gift with children and her ease with foreign cultures to serve India. Thus began The Sacred Seed. Cynthia continues to renew and deepen her close walk with Christ.
